NTWH CROSBY CAMPUS, BELFAST, MAINE
The NTWH-Crosby School is located in one of the State of Maine's most unique and beautiful
natural environments. Penobscot Bay, known for its marine life, including puffins and dolphins
(and lobsters!), and its gracious old wooden schooners, is four blocks away in sight of the school and is made available to students. Study programs have been designed to be completely accessible for the disabled and welcoming to the able-bodied as well.
The NTWH-Crosby Campus houses two large performance spaces — a 450-seat Main Stage and
a 100-seat Little Theatre, complete with dressing rooms and a backstage area. There are also several
multi-purpose rehearsal rooms/classrooms and a major dance studio, as well as, administrative offices and a dining/kitchen area. All of the study and performance spaces are located in the same building to make movement between classes as simple as possible.
The NTWH-Crosby School is a totally handicapped-accessible, residential facility which also has a
private swimming pool for relaxation, recreation, or water therapy. We have a certified instructor
to guide students in kayaks around scenic Belfast Bay. The campus is located in the downtown area of Belfast, a block away from restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Room and board is included in the tuition.
NTWH offers generous scholarships to its students who meet eligibility requirements. (NOTE:
Most students at NTWH-Crosby receive a tuition scholarship.) The Work Study Program is
designed to allow students to participate in their scholarships by giving back to the school. Each morning students are assigned to work study stations, where they are expected to work together to maintain their living and study spaces at NTWH-Crosby.
